  1. Conduct research and analysis on pharmacy-related data to identify opportunities for improving healthcare outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to develop strategies for enhancing patient outcomes.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current pharmacy programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance providers, and members.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to health outcomes and pharmacy services.
  6. Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise to identify potential drug therapy problems and develop solutions.
  7. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff in implementing initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  8. Work closely with other departments, such as Quality Improvement and Utilization Management, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, to promote collaboration and achieve mutual goals.
  10. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all activities and outcomes.
  11. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to health outcomes and pharmacy services.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on health outcomes and pharmacy services within the organization.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical and responsible decision-making in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Employment

  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Board Certification In Pharmacotherapy Or Related Specialty (E.g. Ambulatory Care, Managed Care)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Pharmacy Practice Setting, Preferably In Managed Care Or Health Outcomes

  • Strong Knowledge Of Health Outcomes Research Methods And Data Analysis, As Well As Familiarity With Health Insurance And Pharmacy Benefit Management Systems.
