  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the graduate medical education programs at Highmark Health.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to graduate medical education.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the graduate medical education programs.
  4. Coordinate and manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for residents and fellows.
  5. Collaborate with program directors and other stakeholders to develop and maintain an effective and high-quality curriculum.
  6. Monitor and track resident and fellow progress, including evaluations and milestones.
  7. Manage the budget for the graduate medical education programs, including allocation of resources and funding.
  8. Communicate and collaborate with accrediting bodies and other external organizations to maintain program accreditation.
  9. Supervise and support administrative staff involved in the graduate medical education programs.
  10. Serve as a mentor and resource for residents and fellows, providing guidance and support throughout their training.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to graduate medical education.
  12. Participate in meetings and committees related to graduate medical education, providing updates and recommendations as needed.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Highmark Health to ensure a seamless and efficient educational experience for residents and fellows.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the graduate medical education programs to meet the needs of our community and the healthcare industry.
  15. Represent Highmark Health and the graduate medical education programs at conferences and events, promoting our organization and its values.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role Within A Healthcare Organization.

  • Strong Understanding Of Graduate Medical Education (Gme) Regulations And Accreditation Standards.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Medical Staff, Residents, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Budget Management, Data Analysis, And Project Management.
