  1. Develop and implement innovative food-as-medicine programs to improve the health and well-being of our communities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of the food-as-medicine programs.
  3. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nutrition and its impact on health.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to support the program.
  5. Develop and manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  6. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Develop educational materials and resources to support the program and educate the community.
  8. Train and supervise program staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  9. Develop and maintain program policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  10. Act as a spokesperson for the program, representing Highmark Health at events and conferences.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote the program and increase awareness.
  12. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the food-as-medicine program.
  13. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to food safety and nutrition.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.
  15. Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of Highmark Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field: A Food-As-Medicine Program Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nutrition And How Food Can Be Used As Medicine To Support Overall Health And Well-Being. A Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field Would Demonstrate The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise For This Role.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Wellness Industry: Highmark Health Is A Leading Healthcare Company, And A Food-As-Medicine Program Manager Should Have Previous Experience In The Healthcare Or Wellness Industry. This Would Ensure A Deep Understanding Of The Industry And The Ability To Effectively Implement A Food-As-Medicine Program Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Project Management Skills: The Food-As-Medicine Program Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Development, Implementation, And Evaluation Of The Program. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Set And Meet Deadlines, Manage Budgets, And Coordinate With Multiple Stakeholders.
