
Finance Acceleration Associate
Highmark Health is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Finance Acceleration Associate. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.To be successful in this position, the successful candidate should have a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. They should also have experience with financial accounting and budgeting processes, as well as experience in data analysis and financial modeling. The successful candidate must also demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and a broad knowledge of financial systems. The successful candidate must also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models to help inform business decisions.
- Monitor and review financial performance of operations in order to identify areas of improvement.
- Identify and assess potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigating such risks.
- Maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
