Endoscopy Technician

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field, have at least one year of experience working as an Endoscopy Technician, and be certified in Basic Life Support. Responsibilities:

1. Perform endoscopy procedures according to medical protocols and safety regulations.
2. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient privacy.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure the highest level of sterilization.
4. Monitor patient condition throughout procedure and provide support to patient during procedure.
5. Assist doctors and other medical staff in patient care and preparation for endoscopy procedures.
6. Administer medications as necessary and provide post-procedure care to patients.
7. Assist in ordering and stocking of supplies and equipment.
8. Provide education and information to patients and their families regarding endoscopy procedures.
9. Follow all safety and quality control protocols.
10. Participate in continuing education and training activities as needed.
