Job Description

At Highmark Health, we are looking for an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. Additionally, the candidate should have prior experience as an EMT, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to think quickly and act calmly in emergency situations. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality emergency medical services to patients.
  2. Respond to emergency calls and assess patient condition.
  3. Administer appropriate first-aid and lifesaving treatments.
  4. Utilize medical equipment and supplies to provide patient care.
  5. Transport patients to medical facilities as needed.
  6. Record patient information accurately and completely.
  7. Follow all safety protocols in order to maintain a safe work environment.
  8. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with patients, family members, and coworkers.
  9. Keep up to date with medical advancements and best practices.
  10. Participate in continuing education courses to maintain EMT certification.
