Dental Assistant

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities: •Greet and prepare patients for dental treatments •Sterilize and prepare dental instruments •Assist the dentist during treatments •Take digital radiographs and x-rays •Document patient information in the electronic medical record •Schedule patient appointments and follow-up appointments •Provide patient education on dental hygiene and treatment •Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dental office •Keep up to date with continuing education courses and training •Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines •Provide excellent customer service •Provide support to dental staff and team members
