In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Emergency Department and the Emergency Transportation Department, while ensuring compliance with established policies.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. You should be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable of medical terminology and relevant healthcare technology. An understanding of transportation regulations is a must. Your customer service skills should be exemplary, and you should be capable of multitasking and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the Emergency Department and Emergency Transportation Department in accordance with established policies.
  2. Leverage knowledge of medical terminology and relevant healthcare technology to support department operations.
  3. Utilize understanding of applicable transportation regulations to ensure compliance.
  4. Maintain organized customer records and provide exemplary customer service.
  5. Monitor and respond to emergencies in a timely manner, making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ensure accurate data entry into the organization's computer system.
  7. Provide support and guidance to staff as needed.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay abreast of industry developments.
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field

  • Such As Emergency Medical Services Or Healthcare Administration
