Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Study Manager to join the Highmark Health team! This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a clinical research setting and a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs). Our Clinical Study Manager will be responsible for the overall management and execution of clinical studies, ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget. This individual should be able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and be self-motivated to achieve goals. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that clinical studies are executed in compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
  2. Monitor study progress and milestones to ensure studies are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Provide guidance and support to clinical team members to ensure study objectives are being met.
  4. Create and maintain study documentation (e.g., protocols, case report forms, etc.).
  5. Track, document, and report study data and results.
  6. Prepare and submit regulatory documents for review by Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
  7. Monitor study sites to ensure compliance with study protocols and GCPs.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., sponsors, vendors).
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful study execution.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical research regulations and procedures.
