  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the psychology department that align with the overall goals of Highmark Health.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the psychology department, including managing staff, budget, and resources.
  3. Ensure that all mental health services provided by the organization meet industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health services and make necessary improvements to ensure high-quality care.
  6. Serve as a mentor and provide guidance and support to staff psychologists and other team members.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and expand services.
  8. Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of clinical psychology and incorporate new techniques and practices into the department.
  9. Act as a liaison between the psychology department and other departments within the organization to promote a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
  10. Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to promote the services of the psychology department and Highmark Health as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited University

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Clinical Psychology Setting

  • Active State License To Practice Psychology And Ability To Obtain Licensure In Other States As Needed

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches And Ability To Implement Them Within Clinical Programs

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Developing A Team Of Clinicians And Staff Members.
