- Develop and implement strategic plans for the psychology department that align with the overall goals of Highmark Health.
- Oversee the daily operations of the psychology department, including managing staff, budget, and resources.
- Ensure that all mental health services provided by the organization meet industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health services and make necessary improvements to ensure high-quality care.
- Serve as a mentor and provide guidance and support to staff psychologists and other team members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and expand services.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of clinical psychology and incorporate new techniques and practices into the department.
- Act as a liaison between the psychology department and other departments within the organization to promote a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
- Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to promote the services of the psychology department and Highmark Health as a whole.
Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited University
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Clinical Psychology Setting
Active State License To Practice Psychology And Ability To Obtain Licensure In Other States As Needed
Extensive Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches And Ability To Implement Them Within Clinical Programs
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Developing A Team Of Clinicians And Staff Members.
