As a Clinical Engineering Specialist, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to ensure the successful implementation of medical equipment in our hospitals, improving the quality of care for our patients.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a healthcare setting, and a valid license in the field of Clinical Engineering. You will also need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain clinical engineering systems.
  2. Monitor medical equipment performance and ensure it is functioning correctly.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment when needed.
  4. Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment and ensure it is in compliance with safety standards.
  5. Provide technical support to staff and physicians on the use of medical equipment.
  6. Train healthcare staff in the proper use of medical equipment.
  7. Research new medical equipment and technologies to determine their appropriateness for use in the healthcare setting.
  8. Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed.
  9. Monitor the purchase, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment.
  10. Act as a liaison between the healthcare facility and medical equipment vendors.
