
Clinical Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical engineering systems.
- Monitor medical equipment performance and ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment when needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment and ensure it is in compliance with safety standards.
- Provide technical support to staff and physicians on the use of medical equipment.
- Train healthcare staff in the proper use of medical equipment.
- Research new medical equipment and technologies to determine their appropriateness for use in the healthcare setting.
- Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed.
- Monitor the purchase, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Act as a liaison between the healthcare facility and medical equipment vendors.
