  1. Coordinate patient access: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Access Coordinator is to ensure that patients have easy and timely access to the care and services provided by our Primary Care department.
  2. Manage patient scheduling: This role involves managing patient appointments, ensuring that they are scheduled efficiently and accurately. This includes coordinating with healthcare providers and staff to ensure that appointments are available and appropriately scheduled.
  3. Monitor patient flow: The Clinical Access Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the flow of patients within the Primary Care department, making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient and timely care.
  4. Maintain patient records: This position requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal and medical information, appointment history, and insurance information.
  5. Educate patients: The Clinical Access Coordinator will serve as a resource for patients, providing information and answering questions about our healthcare services, insurance coverage, and appointment procedures.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff: This role requires frequent collaboration with healthcare providers and staff to ensure that patient needs are met and that operations run smoothly.
  7. Communicate with patients: The Clinical Access Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with patients regarding appointments, follow-up care, and any other necessary information.
  8. Ensure compliance: The Clinical Access Coordinator must ensure that all patient access processes and procedures are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Primary Care.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Plans, And Healthcare Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Patients And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Electronic Medical Records.
