
Behavioral Health School Educator

- Conduct educational workshops and presentations on various behavioral health topics to students, families, and school staff.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to develop and implement behavioral health programs and initiatives.
- Provide individual and group support to students who may be struggling with behavioral health issues.
- Serve as a resource for school staff, providing guidance and support on how to promote mental health and well-being in the school environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of behavioral health and incorporate this knowledge into educational materials and presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and mental health professionals to coordinate resources and support for students and families.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all educational activities and student interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates and resources related to behavioral health.
- Demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Master's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Mental Health Counseling Or Education.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Current Trends In Behavioral Health.
Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Understanding Of Cultural Competency.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Students.
