Anesthesia Technician

This individual should have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology to support and provide assistance to Anesthesiologists with the administration of anesthesia. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be knowledgeable about the latest technological advances in anesthesiology, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Assist Anesthesiologists with the administration of anesthesia.
2. Provide patient care to ensure the highest quality patient experience.
3. Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.
4. Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advances in anesthesiology.
5. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
7. Monitor patients’ vital signs during anesthesia to ensure safety.
8. Assist with preparing and setting up equipment and instruments prior to surgery.
9. Transport and transfer patients as necessary.
10. Maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
