Advanced Degree In Nursing Or Medicine: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing (Msn) Or A Doctorate In Medicine (Md) Is Required For An Advanced Practice Provider (App) In Interventional Pulmonology At Highmark Health. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Clinical Knowledge And Skills.
Active State License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active, Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner (Np) Or Physician Assistant (Pa) In The State Where The Job Is Located. This Is Essential For Providing Safe And Effective Patient Care Within The State's Regulations.
Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Their Respective Specialty By A Recognized Organization Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
