- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-based products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
- Design and implement automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
- Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to cloud computing and incorporate them into the testing process.
- Monitor and analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improving product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve and optimize the testing process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train junior members of the team on testing best practices and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on test progress and any potential roadblocks.
- Adhere to company standards and processes for testing and quality assurance.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the product by providing valuable insights and suggestions for enhancements.
Strong Coding Skills: A Software Engineer In Test Should Have A Strong Foundation In Coding And Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++. This Is Essential For Developing Automated Tests And Creating Tools For Testing In The Cloud Environment.
Experience In Cloud Computing: As The Job Title Suggests, A Software Engineer In Test For Cloud Quality Should Have Experience Working With Cloud Technologies Such As Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. This Includes Knowledge Of Cloud Infrastructure, Services, And Deployment Models.
