  1. Design and implement security solutions for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  2. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  3. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the development and deployment process.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in cloud and Kubernetes security, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies and processes.
  6. Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Conduct security training and awareness sessions for team members and other stakeholders.
  8. Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior security engineers.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical team members, to convey security risks and recommendations.
  11. Continuously monitor and improve the security posture of cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  12. Develop and maintain documentation related to security controls, processes, and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and implement security solutions.
  14. Lead incident response efforts and contribute to incident response planning and testing.
  15. Identify and report on key security metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Cloud Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Securing Cloud Environments, Including Public, Private, And Hybrid Clouds. They Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Best Practices And Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security Frameworks And Technologies.

  • Proficiency In Kubernetes Security: As A Senior Security Engineer, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Securing Kubernetes Clusters And Workloads. They Should Be Familiar With Kubernetes Security Tools And Techniques, Such As Rbac, Network Policies, And Container Image Scanning.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Network Security: The Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Network Security Principles, Protocols, And Technologies. The Candidate Should Be Able To Design And Implement Secure Network Architectures For Cloud And Kubernetes Environments.

  • Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Automating Security Processes And Tasks Using Scripting Languages, Such As Python Or Bash. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Devops Principles And Be Comfortable Working With Ci/Cd Pipelines.

  • Certification In Cloud And/Or Kubernetes Security: A Professional Certification In Cloud Security, Such As Ccsk Or Ccsp, Is Highly Desirable. Additionally, A Certification In Kubernetes Security, Such As Cks, Would Be A Plus. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To Staying Current With The Latest Security Practices And Technologies.
