- Manage and maintain all high performance compute systems on site.
- Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of all compute systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement procedures for system maintenance and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement system improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in HPC technology.
- Train and mentor team members on HPC systems and procedures.
- Communicate with leadership and other departments to provide updates on system status.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for system upgrades and support.
- Create and maintain documentation for all HPC systems and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding security and data management.
- Lead and participate in meetings and discussions related to HPC systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed.
Extensive Experience In Managing And Leading High Performance Computing (Hpc) Systems On-Site, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Projects And Meeting Performance Goals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Hpc Architectures, System Software, And Parallel Computing Technologies, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Hpc Strategies, Optimize System Performance, And Identify And Implement Process Improvements To Increase Efficiency And Effectiveness.
Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In An Hpc Leadership Role. Relevant Certifications, Such As Hpc System Administrator Or Hpc Solutions Architect, May Also Be Required.
