  1. Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies for our IT infrastructure.
  2. Implement and regularly test disaster recovery plans to ensure their effectiveness.
  3. Work closely with IT teams to identify critical systems and processes, and develop appropriate recovery plans for each.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to disaster recovery.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential disasters.
  6. Lead disaster recovery drills and exercises to test the organization's readiness and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of disaster recovery plans with business needs and objectives.
  8. Create and maintain documentation of disaster recovery procedures and protocols.
  9. Monitor and analyze disaster recovery metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with recovery time objectives.
  10. Serve as the primary point of contact for all disaster recovery related inquiries and issues.
  11. Provide training and guidance to IT teams on disaster recovery protocols and procedures.
  12. Continuously improve and optimize disaster recovery processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to support disaster recovery efforts.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on disaster recovery, providing guidance and recommendations to senior management.
  15. Manage and coordinate the response to any actual disasters, ensuring timely recovery and minimal disruption to business operations.
