  1. Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of rental vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, and detailing.
  2. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify and report any damage or mechanical issues.
  3. Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  4. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely servicing of vehicles and resolve any maintenance issues.
  5. Monitor fuel levels and refuel vehicles as needed.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service bay and storage areas.
  7. Assist customers with loading and unloading luggage and rental equipment.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  10. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and customer service.
  12. Adhere to company standards for appearance and professional behavior.
  13. Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to ensure smooth operations.
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Maintenance: A Vehicle Service Attendant At Hertz Car Rental Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Automotive Maintenance And Be Able To Perform Basic Maintenance Tasks Such As Oil Changes, Tire Rotations, And Fluid Top-Offs.

  • Experience In Customer Service: As A Vehicle Service Attendant, You Will Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis. It Is Important To Have Excellent Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Handle Customer Complaints And Inquiries In A Professional And Efficient Manner.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Working Outdoors In Various Weather Conditions. Therefore, Physical Fitness And Endurance Are Important Qualifications For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail: A Vehicle Service Attendant Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That The Vehicles Are Properly Cleaned And Maintained To Meet Hertz's Standards. This Includes Identifying And Reporting Any Damages Or Issues With The Vehicles.

  • Valid Driver’s License: To Be Considered For This Role, Candidates Must Have A Valid Driver’s License And A Clean Driving Record. As A Vehicle Service Attendant, You May Be Required To Move Vehicles Around The Lot, So A Valid Driver’s License Is A Must.
