  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide detailed information about rental vehicles, rates, and services to customers.
  3. Process rental reservations and complete rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
  4. Upsell additional products and services to customers, such as insurance and upgrades.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of Hertz policies and procedures, as well as rental and insurance guidelines.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the rental process.
  7. Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of rental vehicles to meet company standards.
  8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  9. Follow up with customers after their rental experience to gather feedback and address any concerns.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized rental records and paperwork.
  11. Continuously strive to improve the rental experience for customers by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  12. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of customers and company assets.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide the best possible service to customers.
  14. Attend training and development sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Customer Service Experience: A Rental Sales Agent At Hertz Car Rental Should Have A Strong Background In Customer Service, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis And Should Have The Ability To Provide Excellent Service And Address Any Concerns Or Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Rental Car Procedures And Policies: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Rental Car Procedures And Policies In Order To Effectively Assist Customers With Their Rental Needs And Answer Any Questions They May Have.

  • Strong Sales Skills: A Rental Sales Agent Should Have Strong Sales Skills To Be Able To Effectively Upsell Customers On Additional Services And Upgrades, Such As Insurance Or Gps Navigation Systems.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear And Effective Communication Is Essential For A Rental Sales Agent, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers, Coworkers, And Other Departments Within The Company. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.
