Job Description

As the Manager of Marketing & Marketing COEs Learning & Development, you will play a critical role in equipping our marketing teams with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their roles.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the marketing department, aligned with Hershey's overall business objectives.
  2. Design and deliver training programs and initiatives that enhance the skills and competencies of marketing team members, including onboarding, leadership development, and technical training.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize learning needs and create targeted development plans for individual team members.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in marketing and marketing learning and development, and incorporate them into the training curriculum.
  6. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting and encouraging ongoing education and skills enhancement.
  7. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance and support for their career growth and development.
  8. Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to identify and implement learning and development opportunities beyond traditional training, such as job rotations and stretch assignments.
  9. Partner with external vendors and subject matter experts to bring in new perspectives and expertise to the learning and development programs.
  10. Communicate regularly with senior leadership on the progress and impact of learning and development initiatives, and make recommendations for future improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing Or Business Administration: A Strong Educational Background In Marketing Or Business Administration Is Essential For A Manager, Marketing & Marketing Coes Learning & Development Role At Hershey. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Marketing Principles And Strategies.

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In A Marketing Or Learning And Development Role: To Effectively Manage And Develop The Learning And Development Programs For Hershey's Marketing Team, The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Either Marketing Or Learning And Development. This Experience Will Provide Them With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Create Effective Training Programs And Coach Team Members.

  • Experience In Project Management And Leading Cross-Functional Teams: As A Manager, Marketing & Marketing Coes Learning & Development, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Projects Related To Learning And Development Initiatives. Therefore, Having Previous Experience In Project Management And Leading Teams Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Vital For A Manager, Marketing & Marketing Coes Learning & Development At Hershey. The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Team Members, Stakeholders, And External Partners, As Well As Deliver Training And Presentations. Therefore, Having Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Is A Must.

  • Knowledge Of Digital Marketing And E-Learning Platforms: In Today's Digital Age, It Is Essential For A Manager, Marketing & Marketing Coes Learning & Development To Have A Good Understanding Of Digital Marketing Techniques And E-Learning Platforms. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Develop And Implement Innovative And Engaging Training Programs For Hershey's Marketing Team.
