Job Description

  1. Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of Hershey's supply chain and logistics processes.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, such as production and sales, to forecast and plan for product demand.
  4. Communicate and coordinate with external partners, such as suppliers and transportation companies, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or delays in the supply chain, and implement solutions to resolve them.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and other supply chain data.
  7. Analyze supply chain data and make recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  9. Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  10. Train and mentor new employees on logistics and supply chain processes and procedures.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  12. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines related to logistics and supply chain activities.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and procedures to improve overall efficiency.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering innovative ideas and solutions.
  15. Represent Hershey's in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards at all times.
