- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation of all work performed on equipment.
- Work closely with production team to identify and address any potential equipment issues or concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics to ensure proper maintenance procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure equipment is meeting production standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for production equipment.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Technical Skills: An Industrial Maintenance Mechanic At Hershey Must Possess A Strong Foundation In Mechanical, Electrical, And Plumbing Systems. They Should Also Have Experience With Industrial Machinery And Equipment, Troubleshooting And Repair Techniques, And Basic Welding And Fabrication Skills.
