  1. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to help drive business decisions.
  2. Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Ensure compliance with general accounting principles and company policies.
  4. Reconcile and analyze financial data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to gather and report financial information.
  6. Monitor and track expenses, revenue, and budget variances.
  7. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  8. Assist with internal and external audits.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  14. Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Or Finance Is Essential For A Financial Accountant At Hershey. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Thorough Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards.

  • Cpa Certification: Hershey May Prefer Candidates Who Have Obtained Their Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Certification. This Indicates That The Candidate Has Passed A Rigorous Exam And Has Met The Necessary Education And Experience Requirements To Become A Licensed Accountant.
