Software Engineer - Core Java or Scala
You will serve as a Software Developer on the Vertical Products development team. Work will be on all phases of the software development process associated with systems to support Map products. Development projects will be a mixture of new development, re-factoring of existing systems, and ongoing support. We are building RESTful services/micro-services and deploying containers to a Kubernetes enabled platform. Design and development of software components. Unit and integration testing of software components. Participate in Code reviews with other software engineers. Develop and maintain tools and processes that support the continuous integration and deployment of our software. Create and execute of approved test plans and analysis and results reporting as required.
0-3 years professional development experience
Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and Object-Oriented design concepts
Solid understanding of core libraries, collections and design patterns in Java or Scala
Exposure to Amazon Web Services and associated technologies
