  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the organization, in line with the overall mission and vision of Henry Ford Health System.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to identify key trends and opportunities in the healthcare industry, and use this information to inform the organization's strategic direction.
  3. Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and buy-in for the strategic plan.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the strategic plan, making adjustments and recommendations as needed to ensure its success.
  5. Stay abreast of changes and advancements in the healthcare industry, and proactively identify new opportunities for innovation and growth.
  6. Lead and facilitate cross-functional initiatives and projects to drive strategic priorities and achieve desired outcomes.
  7. Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on healthcare strategy, providing guidance and insights to the executive leadership team and other key stakeholders.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including other healthcare organizations, government agencies, and community groups, to advance the organization's strategic goals.
  9. Manage and allocate resources, including budget and personnel, to support the execution of the strategic plan.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization, encouraging new ideas and approaches to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
  11. Communicate the organization's strategic plan and progress to key stakeholders, including employees, patients, and the community.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws in the development and execution of the strategic plan.
  13. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of strategy professionals, fostering their growth and development within the organization.
  14. Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and other forums to promote the organization's strategic initiatives and thought leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Strategic Planning And Execution: The Ideal Candidate For The Vice President Strategy Role At Henry Ford Health System Should Have A Proven Track Record In Developing And Executing Strategic Plans For Large Organizations, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. This Includes Experience In Market Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, And Financial Forecasting.
