- Develop and implement urban planning strategies and solutions to enhance the physical environment of healthcare facilities.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that urban planning solutions align with the needs of the organization.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed projects on the surrounding community and make recommendations to mitigate any potential negative effects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in urban planning to continuously improve the healthcare facilities.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
- Work closely with government agencies and community organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and gain support for projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the progress and effectiveness of urban planning initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior staff members on urban planning principles and practices.
- Participate in networking events and conferences to promote the healthcare organization's urban planning initiatives and build relationships with industry professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of projects, including timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve urban planning processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values, and act as a positive representative of the healthcare system in all interactions.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Urban Planning, City Planning, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Urban Planning, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.
Excellent Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Land Use, Zoning, And Development.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Urban Planning Concepts To A Diverse Audience.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Coordinating Multiple Projects Simultaneously, While Meeting Strict Deadlines And Budget Constraints.
