- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients who have experienced trauma.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to provide trauma-focused therapy to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to track progress and document treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients in acute distress.
- Educate patients and their families on coping strategies and techniques to manage trauma-related symptoms.
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in trauma-focused therapy and incorporate them into practice.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
- Advocate for patients and promote a trauma-informed approach within the healthcare system.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients who have experienced trauma.
Doctoral Degree In Clinical Or Counseling Psychology From An Accredited University.
Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of Michigan.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Trauma Populations In A Clinical Setting.
Specialized Training In Evidence-Based Trauma Treatments Such As Emdr Or Trauma-Focused Cbt.
Experience Collaborating With Multidisciplinary Teams And Providing Trauma-Informed Care Within A Healthcare System.
