  1. Provide expert care and treatment for total joint conditions to patients at Henry Ford Health System.
  2. Perform total joint replacements and other orthopedic procedures with precision and skill.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in orthopedics to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the orthopedic department to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  8. Actively participate in departmental meetings and discussions to improve patient care and outcomes.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and supportive experience.
  10. Continuously assess and monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  11. Serve as a mentor and resource for residents and medical students.
  12. Strive to improve patient satisfaction and experience by providing compassionate and personalized care.
  13. Participate in research and contribute to the advancement of orthopedic treatments and procedures.
  14. Work collaboratively with other departments and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  15. Stay informed about changes and updates in the field of orthopedics and attend conferences and continuing education courses as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Be Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery, With A Specific Focus On Total Joint Arthroplasty. This Ensures That The Physician Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The American Board Of Orthopaedic Surgery And Is Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Total Joint Procedures.

  • Subspecialty Training: Along With Board Certification, The Candidate Should Also Have Completed A Fellowship In Total Joint Arthroplasty. This Additional Training Provides The Physician With Advanced Knowledge And Experience In This Specialized Area Of Orthopedics, Making Them Better Equipped To Handle Complex Cases.

  • Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Performing Total Joint Procedures. This Experience Should Include A High Volume Of Successful Surgeries, As Well As Exposure To A Variety Of Cases, Including Revision Surgeries And Complex Joint Replacements.

  • Team Player: As Part Of A Larger Healthcare System, The Candidate Should Be A Team Player And Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Is Essential For Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Surgeons, Nurses, And Physical Therapists, To Provide Comprehensive Care To Patients.
