1. Develop and implement strategies to increase supplier diversity within the organization's procurement processes.
2. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential diverse suppliers and ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion standards.
3. Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to promote diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs.
4. Serve as a subject matter expert on diversity and inclusion principles and provide guidance and training to staff and suppliers.
5. Monitor and track supplier diversity metrics and provide regular reports to leadership.
6. Identify opportunities for supplier diversity partnerships and develop relationships with diverse suppliers.
7. Review and evaluate supplier diversity practices and make recommendations for improvement.
8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to supplier diversity.
9. Participate in diversity and inclusion events and represent the organization as a leader in supplier diversity.
10. Continuously evaluate and update supplier diversity policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.
11. Act as a liaison between diverse suppliers and the organization to address any issues or concerns.
12. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to incorporate diversity and inclusion criteria into supplier selection processes.
13. Work closely with the diversity and inclusion team to align supplier diversity efforts with overall diversity and inclusion goals.
14. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supplier diversity to inform and improve the organization's program.
15. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the organization by promoting the importance of supplier diversity and its impact on the community.
