  1. Provide exceptional care to animal patients by utilizing advanced knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
  2. Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered.
  3. Utilize innovative techniques and technology to improve animal care and treatment outcomes.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all animal patients.
  5. Monitor and assess animal patients' health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns to the veterinary team.
  6. Assist with surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
  7. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  9. Provide guidance and training to junior veterinary staff and students.
  10. Participate in meetings and discussions pertaining to the development and implementation of best practices and protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Veterinary Technologist, Preferably In A Research Or Bioresources Setting.

  • Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt) Or Veterinary Technologist (Cvt) Through A Recognized Organization, Such As Navta Or Avma.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Animal Husbandry, Behavior, And Handling Techniques.

  • Experience With Managing And Overseeing The Care Of Multiple Species Of Laboratory Animals, Including Rodents, Rabbits, And Non-Human Primates.
