Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Senior Administrative Secretary to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. In this role, you will provide critical administrative support to our Community Health Equity & Wellness department, playing a crucial role in promoting health equity and wellness initiatives within our community.   1. Provide high-level administrative support to the Community Health Equity & Wellness department.
  2. Organize and maintain department files, records, and documentation.
  3. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the department.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of health equity and wellness initiatives.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Prepare and distribute departmental communications, including memos, emails, and reports.
  7. Manage department budget and expenses.
  8. Conduct research and gather data to support departmental projects and initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless operations.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the department and other internal and external parties.
  12. Train and oversee junior administrative staff, if applicable.
  13. Continuously assess and improve administrative processes and procedures.
  14. Represent the department in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Software Programs.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Administrative Secretary In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Community Health Equity And Wellness.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Community Health Equity And Wellness Principles And Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.
