  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the grants and contracts process, including application, submission, award, and post-award administration.
  2. Conduct thorough and meticulous research to identify potential funding opportunities and assist with grant and contract proposal development.
  3. Ensure compliance with all grant and contract requirements, including reporting, budget monitoring, and expenditure tracking.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact for research staff and external funding agencies, providing guidance and support throughout the grant and contract process.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including principal investigators, department heads, and finance personnel.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in grant and contract regulations to ensure the organization remains in compliance.
  7. Collaborate with research teams to develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  8. Provide regular reports and updates on the status of grants and contracts to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to grant and contract management.
  10. Identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to grants and contracts in a timely and efficient manner.
  11. Train and mentor junior research administration staff on grant and contract management best practices.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the research program.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant and contract activities.
  14. Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or Finance.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Research Grant Or Contract Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Grant Funding And Contract Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
