As a Registered Nurse in our clinic, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients by providing expert care and support.   1. Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Pain Clinic, utilizing clinical knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring the highest quality of care and patient outcomes.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to all policies and procedures to maintain patient safety and compliance.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, identifying and reporting any changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care management to promote optimal health and well-being.
  6. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs and provide timely interventions.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilize evidence-based practices to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and upheld throughout their healthcare journey.
  11. Actively participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance and maintain clinical expertise and knowledge.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication with colleagues and healthcare team members.
  13. Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Michigan.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working As A Rn In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Pain Management Or Specialty Clinic.

  • Advanced Certification In Pain Management, Such As Certified Pain Management Nurse (Cpmn) Or Certified Interventional Pain Management Nurse (Cipmn), Is Highly Preferred.

  • Strong Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As Proficiency In Administering Pain Management Interventions And Medications.
