  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department, including managing workflow, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and education to promote professional growth and development.
  3. Collaborate with the department's medical team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
  4. Utilize your specialized knowledge and skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery to provide high-quality and evidence-based patient care.
  5. Monitor and assess patient outcomes, identifying any potential issues or concerns and implementing appropriate interventions.
  6. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring their needs are met throughout their healthcare journey.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.
  9. Stay current with advancements in plastic and reconstructive surgery, attending educational opportunities and sharing knowledge with the team.
  10. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality, infection control, and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid State Registered Nurse (Rn) License.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Plastic And Reconstructive Surgical Procedures, Techniques, And Materials.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including Experience In Supervising And Mentoring Other Nurses And Staff.
