  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures in the ambulatory setting.
  2. Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional well-being before, during, and after procedures.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families about procedures, medications, and post-procedure care.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  7. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  8. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to potential complications.
  9. Act as a patient advocate and ensure their rights and preferences are respected.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of patient care.
  11. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in endoscopy procedures and techniques.
  12. Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues and students.
  13. Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and customer service.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal principles in all aspects of job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Ambulatory Care Setting.

  • Certification In Gastroenterology Nursing (Cgrn) Preferred.

  • Proficiency In Administering Conscious Sedation And Monitoring Patients During Endoscopic Procedures.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Multidisciplinary Team Environment.
