  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in alignment with the standards set by Henry Ford Health System and the Academic Internal Medicine team.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Utilize critical thinking and clinical knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including documentation of care provided, medications administered, and patient progress.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients, families, and colleagues by providing information, support, and guidance.
  8. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying and addressing any changes in condition or needs.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA, safety, and infection control regulations and protocols.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current on best practices and advancements in internal medicine.
  11. Act as a role model for professional behavior and uphold the values and mission of Henry Ford Health System.
  12. Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members and maintaining a positive attitude.
  14. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Henry Ford Health System and the Academic Internal Medicine team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Michigan.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Academic Internal Medicine Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And Ability To Apply It In Clinical Decision-Making.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Healthcare Team Members And Educate Patients And Families On Treatment Plans And Health Management.
