- Develop personalized nutrition plans: Create individualized meal plans based on patients' specific needs, including medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences.
- Provide nutrition education: Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the importance of proper nutrition and how to make healthy food choices.
- Monitor patient progress: Regularly assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide interdisciplinary nutrition interventions.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics From An Accredited Institution: This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Education And Training In Nutrition And Dietetics, And Is Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Evidence-Based Nutrition Care.
Certification As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) By The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr): This Certification Is Required By Most Healthcare Organizations, Including Henry Ford Health System, And Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The National Standards For Competency In The Field Of Nutrition And Dietetics.
State Licensure As A Registered Dietitian (Rd): In Addition To National Certification, The Candidate Must Also Hold A State License To Practice As A Registered Dietitian. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Legally Authorized To Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy And Other Dietetics Services In The State Of Michigan.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Henry Ford Health System Seeks Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Dietitian In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Helps To Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Provide High-Quality Nutrition Care To Patients.
