  1. Conduct individualized nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical history, dietary preferences, and goals.
  2. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members on the importance of a healthy diet and how it can impact overall health and well-being.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  5. Stay updated on current research and best practices in nutrition and incorporate them into patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient nutrition plans and progress.
  7. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures.
  8. Serve as a resource and provide guidance to other healthcare team members on nutrition-related topics.
  9. Conduct community outreach and education programs to promote healthy eating habits and prevent chronic diseases.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and state licensing boards.
  11. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care through feedback and performance improvement initiatives.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
  13. Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control protocols.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Dietetics, Nutrition, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Completion Of A Supervised Practice Program Or Internship Approved By The Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Current State Licensure As A Dietitian Or Nutritionist (If Required By State).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Outpatient Clinic.
