  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, including proper positioning and use of radiation protection.
  3. Review patient medical history and obtain informed consent for procedures.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team to provide accurate and timely imaging results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  6. Keep up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  10. Provide patient education and answer any questions or concerns about procedures.
  11. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.
  16. Attend training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  17. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
  18. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  19. Be a positive and professional representative of Henry Ford Health System.
  20. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • A Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Large Healthcare System.

  • Knowledge Of Radiographic Equipment And Procedures, Including Digital Imaging And Pacs Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And With Patients Of Diverse Backgrounds.
