We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology department. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.   1. Operate radiologic equipment: Use and operate various radiologic tools and equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort: Prioritize patient safety and comfort by following proper safety protocols and providing clear instructions for each procedure.
  4. Monitor and maintain equipment: Regularly monitor and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure proper functioning and quality of images.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.
  6. Review and analyze images: Review and analyze images to ensure they meet quality standards and provide accurate information for diagnosis.
  7. Maintain accurate records: Document and maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and any other necessary documentation.
  8. Educate patients and families: Educate patients and their families about the imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry developments: Stay informed about new technology, techniques, and developments in the field of radiology.
  10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: Follow all hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  11. Maintain confidentiality: Respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Continuously improve skills: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve technical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Arrt Certification: All Candidates For A Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology Position At Henry Ford Health System Must Have A Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt). This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards For Education, Ethics, And Clinical Competency Required For This Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Sciences: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Sciences Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Anatomy, Physiology, Radiographic Positioning, And Radiographic Procedures That Are Essential For A Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Current License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist In The State Of Michigan. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The State's Specific Requirements For Education, Training, And Competency In The Field Of Radiology.

  • Experience In Diagnostic Radiology: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiologic Technologist In A Diagnostic Radiology Setting Is Preferred. This Experience Should Include Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Radiographic Procedures, Using Various Imaging Equipment, And Working With Patients Of All Ages And Medical Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Working In A Healthcare Setting Requires Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. Candidates For This Position Should Possess The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
