We are currently seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Radiologic Technologist at Henry Ford Health System, you will play a crucial role in helping diagnose and treat our patients through the use of advanced imaging technology.   1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays and other advanced imaging technology.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
  3. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality images.
  4. Follow established protocols for imaging procedures and maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
  5. Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the radiologist or other medical staff.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families regarding the imaging process and any necessary follow-up care.
  7. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot any issues, and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect patients, staff, and equipment from potential hazards.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist with inventory and ordering of necessary supplies.
  12. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  13. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
  14. Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Valid State License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiographic Equipment And Techniques, Including Digital Imaging And Pacs Systems
