  1. Provide accurate and effective radiation therapy treatments to patients by using advanced medical physics techniques and equipment.
  2. Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other members of the healthcare team to design and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
  3. Perform quality assurance checks and ensure the safety and accuracy of all radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, CT simulators, and other related devices.
  4. Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of medical physics, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and treatment techniques.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all treatments, procedures, and equipment maintenance performed.
  6. Communicate and educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures, potential side effects, and ways to manage any discomfort or adverse reactions.
  7. Participate in departmental meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to discuss patient cases and provide input on treatment plans.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  9. Assist in the training and supervision of radiation therapy technologists and other staff members.
  10. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the radiation oncology program by participating in research projects, quality improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities.
  11. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, policies, and procedures.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
  14. Represent the organization in a positive manner and provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Or Doctorate Degree In Medical Physics Or Related Field.

  • Certification By The American Board Of Radiology Or Equivalent.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiation Oncology Physicist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Therapy Equipment, Treatment Planning Systems, And Quality Assurance Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
