1. Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions to patients with mental health disorders.
2. Create and maintain individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment modalities.
4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
5. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy.
6. Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment.
7. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to treatment.
10. Participate in team meetings, case presentations, and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge.
11. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.
12. Act as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs are met.
