  1. Conduct and lead cutting-edge research in the field of dermatology and epidemiology.
  2. Develop and teach courses in dermatology and epidemiology to medical students, residents, and fellows.
  3. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum for the dermatology and epidemiology program.
  4. Mentor and supervise students, residents, and fellows in their research and clinical activities.
  5. Participate in local and national conferences and symposiums to present research findings and represent the organization.
  6. Serve as a resource and expert in dermatology and epidemiology for other healthcare professionals within the organization.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the department.
  8. Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of dermatology and epidemiology, and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  9. Provide patient care and consultations in the area of dermatology and epidemiology.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices for patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Dermatology Or Epidemiology: A Professor Of Dermato-Epidemiology At Henry Ford Health System Must Possess A Doctoral Degree In Either Dermatology Or Epidemiology To Be Considered For The Role. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Foundation And Expertise To Conduct Research And Teach In The Field Of Dermatology And Epidemiology.

  • Extensive Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Conducting Research In The Area Of Dermatology-Epidemiology. This Includes Experience In Designing And Executing Studies, Analyzing Data, And Publishing Findings In Reputable Journals. This Experience Will Be Crucial In Furthering The Research Mission Of The Health System.

  • Teaching Experience: As A Professor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Teaching Students, Residents, And Fellows In The Field Of Dermatology-Epidemiology. Therefore, Previous Experience In Teaching And Mentoring Students Is Essential. This Includes Developing And Delivering Lectures, Leading Small Group Discussions, And Providing One-On-One Guidance To Students.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board-Certified In Both Dermatology And Epidemiology. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Field. It Also Ensures That The Candidate Is Up-To-Date With The Latest Developments In Both Specialties.
