  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date preference cards for surgical procedures.
  2. Collaborate with surgical services team to ensure that preference cards reflect current and accurate information.
  3. Work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to gather necessary information for preference cards.
  4. Review and update preference cards on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
  5. Communicate any changes or updates to preference cards to appropriate team members.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of new preference cards as needed.
  7. Maintain organized and easily accessible preference card files.
  8. Track and report on preference card usage and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Ensure that all preference cards comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Act as a resource for surgical services team regarding preference card information and updates.
  11. Train and educate new team members on preference card procedures and protocols.
  12. Attend department meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  14. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to preference cards.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Services Setting, Preferably In A Coordinator Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Instrumentation, And Equipment.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize.

  • Proficiency In Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Record Systems.
