  1. Perform surgical procedures on patients to alter, repair, or enhance their physical appearance in accordance with established medical protocols and standards.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current health conditions to determine eligibility for surgery.
  3. Educate and inform patients about the risks and benefits of various surgical procedures and assist them in making informed decisions about their treatment plans.
  4. Collaborate with other medical professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in plastic surgery through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients, including pre-operative and post-operative notes, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to minimize the risk of complications and promote a safe environment for both patients and healthcare staff.
  8. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families to address their concerns and provide emotional support throughout the surgical process.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to promote the plastic surgery services offered by Henry Ford Health System and attract new patients.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  11. Uphold the values and mission of Henry Ford Health System and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Board Certification In Plastic Surgery

  • Completion Of A Residency Program In Plastic Surgery

  • Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Plastic Surgery Procedures, Including Reconstructive And Cosmetic Surgeries.
