  1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with serious and life-limiting illnesses.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Palliative Care team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physician.
  5. Educate patients and their families about palliative care principles and practices.
  6. Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during difficult times.
  7. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in palliative care.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, their families, and colleagues.
  12. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
  13. Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program

  • Current Certification By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Palliative Care Or Related Field

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Patients

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of End-Of-Life Care, Pain Management, And Symptom Control In Palliative Care Patients.
