- Oversee and manage a team of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among the team of physicians and APPs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to physicians and APPs, including ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of physicians and APPs, providing feedback and support for improvement as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for physicians and APPs.
- Monitor and manage resource utilization to ensure efficient and effective use of staff and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare management to continuously improve processes and operations.
Medical Degree: A Physician & App Coordinator At Henry Ford Health System Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Medical Knowledge And Understanding Of Patient Care.
Active Medical License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current, Active Medical License In The State Of Michigan. This Ensures That They Are Able To Practice Medicine And Oversee Other Healthcare Providers Within The Henry Ford Health System.
Experience In Coordination/Leadership: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Coordinating And Leading A Team, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Manage And Direct A Group Of Healthcare Providers.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations: A Physician & App Coordinator Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards. This Is Necessary To Ensure That All Practices Within The Health System Are In Line With State And Federal Laws.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Physician & App Coordinator. They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Healthcare Providers And Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
